September 2026 - Jolocky Launch

Initial public launch of Jolocky, a catalog of animated website footers with free and Pro tiers, shadcn registry installation, and a member dashboard.

Welcome to the initial public launch of Jolocky.

Jolocky sells animated website components for Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS. Every item is original, designed and coded from scratch by Jolocky, and installs as editable source code in your project.

What Is Included in the Initial Release

Animated Footers

  • Footer catalog: Free and Pro website footers with canvas scenes, animated wordmarks, SVG illustrations, and pointer interactions. Animation is hand-written with requestAnimationFrame, canvas 2D, SVG, and CSS.
  • Live previews: Every item has a live preview and an Engineering Breakdown on its page in the Sections catalog.

Installation via the shadcn Registry

Every item is served as a shadcn registry item and installs with the standard CLI:

Items install into their own folder under components/footers/, split into a main component and smaller supporting files such as sub-components, styles, and hooks. Any npm packages an item imports are listed in the registry item and installed by the CLI.

Plans and Member Dashboard

  • Community (free): Free items under the MIT License, with no account or key required.
  • Pro Annual: US$72 per year, billed annually. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments.
  • Member dashboard: The License tab at /dashboard shows your license key and copies it as a JOLOCKY_LICENSE_KEY line for .env.local. Each item page shows its install command.
  • Registry access control: Pro registry items require a valid license key, and registry requests are rate limited.
